Hi Alex, thank you very much for that motivational speech.
I would love to convey that message to my youngest version : in a relationship, early in his career and without kids.
For me, the situation feels different. I love to write.
I do it on a weekly basis when my kids ( 3 & 5) are doing their nap, every Saturday afternoon.
I edit and publish on Sunday or on evenings on week days.
I want to write and be present with my kids.
I want to write and keep my 9-5.
I want to write keep some energy ⚡ for me.
Ultimately we are all in different walks in life.
It's all about the why of the writing as you say.
For me, the most important is to document my life after living it fully.
It's not my main source of income. I am not writing to impress. I am writing to express myself and tell my story.
I am just documenting my life and sharing it.
As a part time creator dad, my energy ⚡ is more precious than my time.
Yet you are right, it's all about your priorities.
💯🙏🏾
