I have been in Medium for more than 3 years.
My workflow was quite straightforward : I prepare my articles on Google Docs, I use Grammarly to edit them, then I self publish.
Then I was out of the platform to real life.

I discovered publications like one month ago. So I wish I could go back in time and share your article with my previous self. 😂

I don't like constraints when it comes to publishing my articles on Medium
So I applied and was accepted a couple of week ago on ILLUMINATION. That publication is part of the 1% that accept already published articles.
So for the moment, I like them for that simplicity of my workflow.
