Totally agree with you beyond the materialistic attachement of living things.
It seems like as humans, connecting to physical things left behind create more bond.
Let me explain.
It's all about the energy of that physical artifact.
The touch, the smell, the scratches tell more stories than the book and the vinyl itself.
When we touch things, we live part of our energy attached to it.
That is not possible (today) with digital items.
That is where I am coming from.
